BLACKWOOD SCOUTS

Scouts was the original section established for boys by Baden Powell in England in 1907. Scouts now cater for boys and girls aged from 10.5 to 15 years of age. Scouts enjoy a number of activities including the traditional past times of hiking and camping together with numerous other events and excursions. Blackwood is no exception and our Scouts enjoy a wide range of Troop activities as well as active participation in District and State events, and with other Groups.

Blackwood's Scout Troop meets weekly at our hall at 288 Main Road (to Coromandel Valley), Blackwood. The meeting times for our Wednesday Troop are from 7.00 to 9.00 pm.

Visitors are always welcome, but please telephone the leader in charge first to ensure that the Troop will not be away from the Hall on the night in question.
